elishéva was born in Paris, France, grew up in Tahiti, French Polynesia before moving to Los Angeles, California in 2008. She started singing as a freshman vocalist in her high school choir. It wasn’t until her senior year of high school that she started voice lessons that would later introduce her to jazz. elishéva started finding her own sound by exploring the jazz and pop genres, and by listening to more music than she could handle. Chasing the thrill of a career in the music industry, she was inspired to pursue performance after high school. Instead of following the medical path all of her family members took, elishéva auditioned for the Berklee College of Music and was accepted in 2018.
elishéva took this past covid year off and moved to Paris, France to write and produce her original music. She is now back in Boston finishing her last year at Berklee College of Music. On top of being an independent artist, she also performs as a vocalist in the Downbeat award-winning groups Point of Departure & the Advanced Vocal Jazz Ensemble led by Ned Rosenblatt. elishéva has performed with Dee Dee Bridgewater, opened for Chaka Khan, and sang in many performances with her fellow artists at Berklee. Her electric spirit lands her gigs as a lead and background vocalist for many Berklee shows. Beyond her singing talents, she also arranges and writes with many other artists. Her latest single's music video just dropped on YouTube and she has new music coming out next month!
